Girlfriend of Hashtag Franco, Janica Nam Floresca become emotional recalling how her boyfried got drowned in Hashtag Tom’s private resort. The issue become bigger and bigger as the model gf of Franco revealed what really happened to her boyfriend. For the first time after long weeks of mourning over the loss of a loved one, Janica Nam Floresca breaks silence regarding the truth of the drowning incident that took the life of her boyfriend, Franco Hernandez. We might recall that the two went on a supposed vacation outing in Davao, wherein they were invited by Franco’s fellow Hashtags member Tom Doromal.
The latter appeared on an interview feature with Rated K (a magazine show hosted by Korina Sanchez) and “narrated” the story on what actually happened prior the tragedy. But Janica, tells otherwise. According to her, what Tom Doromal told the press about the issue barely scratched the surface of what truly happened—or neither did it scratch anything at all. For Janica, everything that Tom told Rated K was nowhere near the truth. And the incident looked like it was all planned and meant to happen. Franco’s girlfriend tells how she disagreed with the idea of flying all over to Davao Occidental from Manila.
And at first thought, she kind of knew that something sinister is about to happen. But she admitted that she shrugged the idea of a tragedy that may occur as she supported her boyfriend all throughout the travel. And she knew that Franco was having a great time by then. So by the time they were supposed to go to the waterfalls that Tom Doromal was talking about, they were welcomed with a rainy weather. And Tom immediately told the group to cancel the itinerary as it was a flooded area, and that the waters there are overflowing and it’s not a good idea to continue.
However, instead of going back to their safehouse, Tom invited the group to go to the beach resort they own in Davao Occidental. Janica opposed to the idea of going there, but nevertheless they continued. Tom told the group that it’s a long boat ride away from the shore they were in. Janica insisted to go back, but Franco said that it will all be okay. Although, Franco told Tom that he was “afraid of water” and “cannot swim”. Janica recalled the incident of having to say the same thing as none of them were actually good swimmers or can barely swim at all.
But Tom said that the shore is just close and the waves are rather friendly that day. And so they went on. Boarding the small boats is what bothered Janica Nam as she recalls, they were not given any life jackets at all. Travelling forward, they were welcomed with friendlier and more controlled waves until it has gone into big ones. The group decided to go back but then, it was in a glimpse that their boat turned into a surfboard among the waves. And no sooner after that, Janica Nam told the press, their boat has been filled with water. Then the “bangkeros” told them to jump right in to the water. All of the boys dived in, and Janica said that she was the one not to jump. Franco was getting mad that time as he forces her to dive in. But the bangkero agreed not to, as she was just thin and light. But no sooner after that, she was forced to dive as the boat will sink due to the water that got in.
And after that, all of them in the waters and no life jackets to save their lives, they were all separated by the waves. And everyone was not on sight due to the harsh weather. And then she lost all faith that they will be saved. And then she knew that Franco was not on sight anymore. Until they just found Franco unconscious. Even though the bangkeros tried to rescue him, it was to her surprise that even Tom Doromal was not in a rush to save his friend’s life. Janica Nam tells PEP.ph that it was only her who insisted rushing Franco to the hospital until it was all too late. Janica Nam wanted to clarify all the rumors and whereabouts of the news spreading about Franco’s death. She wants to shed light to those controversies that circle around her boyfriend’s death and to give further clarification about the statement given by Tom Doromal prior to hers.
