Netizen Inireklamo Ang Isang Seafood Restaurant Sa Macapagal Blvd. Dahil Dito!

Dampa’ is a Filipino word which basically means a “hut”. More of a nipa hut, to be exact. But if we use dampa, in conjunction with fresh seafood, it connotes a row of restaurants that cooked fresh seafood according to the wishes of the guests. Fresh seafood is conveniently sold in nearby stalls, directly handpicked by the guests. This Facebook post of an angry netizen named Aeron Lean detailing his family’s troublesome experience at a seafood restaurant, Chen Dynasty — has been making the rounds online.

According to Aeron, his family decided to go out for lunch to celebrate his grandmother’s birthday. Having heard of its good reviews, they decided to settle at Chen Dynasty. One of the its employees promised them that they didn’t have to pay if they didn’t enjoy the service of their restaurant. The server offered to personally go and buy the seafood himself to ensure that it was fresh. According to the server, he wouldn’t charge them for his services.

So, the group agreed. Aeron’s family ordered crab, tempura, buttered chicken, salmon, baked mussels, sisig, chopsuey, pancit, and squid.
“So waiting kame , 1hour bago dumating , Maya maya isa isa na dumating mga pagkain.” Aeron and his family ate those delicious foods. But what happened next gave them the biggest shock of their lives. When the bill was handed to them, they were astounded for they were being charged a whopping PHP 34,000.

San galing alimango nyo ? California ?
What’s worse is their service charge amounted to an unbelievable PHP 10,000.

Aeron and his family refused to pay and tried to settle it with the management. From PHP 34,000, their bill was reduced to PHP20,000. To make sure, they asked for the official receipt just in case.

But the management insisted on indicating the amount of PHP 10,000 in their O.R. despite the fact that they received PHP 20,000.
“Eto pa nakakalokang part ! Inay ! Jusko po ! Tinanggap yung 20k pero ilalagay lang daw sa OR is 10k ? Gaguhan ba to ?

Syempre di kame pumayag ! Dun namin lalong napag tanto na talaga ngang manloloko at mang gogoyo tong mga to so talak kame agad “Hindi ! 20k ilagay jan ! ” tas diretso kame uwi.” In the end, they made them write PHP 20,000 on the receipt.

“Kaloka , Daig pa namin nag paswimming with catering !
Aeron warned others to refrain from eating at the seafood restaurant so that they wouldn’t get in the same troublesome situation. You may see it on the source below:
