Filipina Student Called Stupid, Proves Everyone Wrong. Finishes 3 Degrees In 5 Years!

“Ay bobo naman, five years na sa college.” “Masyadong ambisyosa. Wala pa namang napapatunayan sa mundo.” Those are just some of all the negative comments she would hear, read, and swallow like a hard pill on a daily basis after staying in college for almost five years.
Five years is a long time for someone who wants to graduate on time with a degree on a four-year course. Five years is quite a long stay for an average student who want a degree and diploma after college.

Turns out, that this five years is nothing for someone like Wynona Catapang, a graduate of St. Scholastica College, who inspires many youth to pursue their dreams no matter how difficult it seems. Negative comments did not bother the college graduate who brought home not only a single diploma from a degree, but was able to graduate with flying colors who was able to finish Three UnderGraduate Degrees all at once in just five, grueling years of stress.
According to Wynona, she decided to turn all the downpours she has been hearing from people who tries to put her down into positive and productive outcomes.

She did not mind all the comments about her being a bit ambitious, but has yet nothing to prove. But then, after five years of combatting stress and pressure juggling all three courses at once, she was able to finish them all like breeze. She shares on her Facebook post that balancing everything on her head was not easy. Juggling two theses for her Mass Communication course and Psychology course while doing shootings on the side for projects and requirements she needs to comply with.

It was at all not east, but she continues to inspire people that despite the negative comments she hears about her being too ambitious for her age, she slams all the haters and non-believer by being able to finish the undergraduate degrees in five years with flying colors. For her, it’s not about the race of who’s going to finish first.
But instead, it’s about being able to achieve your dream and being successful in your own will. Let the naysayers be naysayers, but at the end of the day, it is still you who will be the master of your own fate.
